Easy Coaches Gift Idea

Both of my kids have just finished their basketball seasons and I have to admit, as much as I complained about being an endless taxi for practices, I’m a little sad it’s over. I love watching my kids play sports; seeing them improve so much in one season, and do things that make them feel proud of themselves. I love when the persistent little guy on the team, who rarely gets to shoot,  makes a basket and is totally surprised and thrilled with himself. It’s just great stuff.

One kid won almost every game and one kid lost almost every game, but they both had great coaches and I wanted to do something fun to say thank you.

Easy Coaches Gift Idea: Vintage Soda Bottles

Our local grocery store, Albertsons has a cool selection of vintage looking pop in bottles and you get a free cardboard carrier, so this was a quick creation. I used my Pazzles Inspiration and some Craft Room files to make a Thanks Coach tag for the side of the carrier. This was quick, inexpensive and so much cooler than a gift card.

I think this is such a neat idea Michelle. My children play lots of sports and I think this is a perfect gift for the coach. I might adapt it for my son’s football coach and my daughter’s tennis coach for a gift at the end of the season. Thanks for the inspiration.
