I love the look of little sentiment banners on my cards and the vintage vibe it gives my projects. But I only have so many tiny little sentiment stamps and let’s be honest, it’s tricky to line them up and get them straight when stamping onto a pre-cut banner shape, and it’s hard to cut the banner evenly around the stamped sentiment when there are no “guide lines” showing you where to cut. Maybe it’s just me that’s challenged in this area – LOL!

So, I started to just print my little sentiments and cut them out in a batch so I have a little pile ready to go. I pick through the options and add one to my project. I’m a big fan of DIY embellishments because they save you money and help you get through your stash! This isn’t really a big, life changing idea, but it’s fun to have these on hand.

I made a little freebie for you that you can print and either use your Silhouette or Cricut to cut out, or print and cut with a paper trimmer.

There are a few different ways to use these:

  • Print the PDF and cut these out with your paper trimmer.
  • Print the SVG or DXF in your cutting software (with or without the background), then use your Silhouette or Cricut to cut them out.

You can print these on lots of different kinds of paper to get whatever look you want. I like to use kraft paper or if you have a laser printer you can even use vellum.
