It’s finally spring! We had a really mild winter here, but I’m still so happy to see the trees blooming and blue skies. It’s put me in a bit of a nesting mode. And I mean that literally. I’m currently obsessed with crafts that involve nests. I’ve got half made nests all over my craft desk. The neighborhood birds are jealous!
Last week my mom needed a little something to finish off a gift basket she was putting together. I made her a few bird nest gift tags and packaged them up with a bird nest tag.
For the gift tags I cut out some bird nest shapes from the Pazzles Craft Room and inked the edges. I added a layer of metallic watercolor paint and then spritzed them with gold Heidi Swapp Color Shine. The eggs were inked and I used an American Crafts Galaxy Marker to color the egg spots.
The bigger tag was made in a similar manner, however I used the Pazzles Pen Tool to draw the nest rather than cut it out.
