One of my favorite ways to use my Pazzles digital die cutting machine is to stretch my purchased embellishments by cutting matching ones for my layout. In this case I had a teal/gold/ black color scheme in mind and after pulling out some Heidi Swapp papers and embellishments, I needed a few more black elements. I cut out my title and the large butterfly to finish off my page. (The butterfly is from Pazzles Stained Glass Butterflies Collection.)Rats-Butterfly

My daughter played the part of a rat in a local music theater. She’s a natural drama queen so she was very willing to pose for a few photos after the fact. A rat face this good comes from hours of practice. I had an extra photo and the program I wanted to include with the page. I adhered a Simple Stories 6×8 refill page to the back of the layout to tuck the extra stuff into. This is totally an obvious idea, but one I only thought of after 10+ years of scrapbooking. Hopefully I’ve just saved you 5-7 years of pondering on what to do with extra photos an memorabilia.
