I’m excited to share this Easter banner with you! Every holiday is better with a little vintage touch and I finally found a way to make a significant dent in some vintage trims I have been hoarding.
The egg is made of several layers of vintage dictionary papers. The thin weight of dictionary paper is not greatly suited for die cutting, but it doesn’t matter if your cuts are not perfect, as you will be scrunching the papers up anyways.
The SVG cutting files for this Easter banner are available in my Etsy store and includes pdf instructions.
Easter is early this year so it’s time to start getting ready for the festivities. I really dread coloring Easter eggs. It was cool for a few years, but I’m kind of over it. My kids won’t eat hard boiled eggs, so it’s a waste anyways. I cheated and bought some white plastic eggs at Hobby Lobby that I’m going to let them decorate with Sharpies this year. I suppose if they really care about dipping the eggs in colors and destroying the kitchen, then I will let them.
Happy Easter festivities!
