Twelve short weeks ago we put the backpacks in the closet, sorted through a giant stack of half used school supplies and papers and said hello to summer! After twelve weeks of staying up late, living in swimsuits and tripping over flip flops left all over the house, it’s time to pull out those back packs again. I’m not sure how it could have gone so fast, but it’s time to go back to school. My kids started school again last Monday. They left in the morning all excited, with their pre-planned outfits and a list of friends they were excited to see again. By the time they got home that same day, school was old news and they were back in the routine again.
To celebrate the occasion (because seriously-mother’s everywhere CELEBRATE back to school), I made my favorite cookies and made back to school treat bags for my kids and all my nieces and nephews. We delivered them the night before school. I made the project easy by using a tag file I created for the Pazzles Craft Room. After assembling the tag, I stapled them to glassine bags for a sweet easy treat.
Happy Back To School!
