Share Handmade Kindness with a thank you card

It’s time to spread a little handmade gratitude this month. Last month we talked about bringing back snail mail and I challenged you to send out a thank you card. Did you do it? Did you send out a card?

This month my card is going to the team mom for my son’s football team. She put all other team moms in history to shame with her mad team mom skillz! Her end of year gifts were on point and she threw a huge party at her house for the end of year.

For this card I pulled out some stamps. The bird is from the Pazzles Craft Room. It’s a cutting file, but it’s really easy to turn cutting files into digital stamps if you are in the mood to color with markers. I turned the fill white and the lines black and then printed it out so I could color it.

It’s sometimes hard for me to send thank you cards. I sometimes get myself all psyched up that it’s weird to send a thank you card in a non gift situation. In reality though I can’t imagine anyone being annoyed by a thank you card, so why do I sometimes feel like it’s a stupid idea? I’m going to just go for it and I hope you will too. I love to receive cards in the mail, so I’m sure your handmade card will add a little sunshine to someone’s day as well.
