Even though the weather outside my house is truly frightful, these little pocket house cards are truly delightful. With 15″ of snow and counting on the ground, I’m ready to leave this record breaking winter behind and pretend like spring is coming soon. Too bad it’s only January 7th.
These little house shaped cards are a great way to use up scraps, and in my opinion, the more miss-matched the papers, the cuter they look. The bottom of the card is gusseted so you can fit a small bag of treats inside. The top of the card links together in a unique way to hold it closed.
Cut files for this project are available in my Etsy shop and include a PDF instruction sheet for assembly.
There’s even a winter wonderland version in case you aren’t quite ready for pastel pinks and yellows.
Enjoy making a whole neighborhood. In addition to a baggie of treats, you could tuck in a tea bag or add a Post-It Note pad inside!
