It’s Halloween time, which means I’m in full Halloween crafting mode and oh how I love it! Every year I host a big Halloween shindig for my extended family and one of my favorite parts is making the invitations, because in case you didn’t know – I LOVE paper and I LOVE Halloween. It’s like a Sharknado where two crazy awesome things collide into one!
I’m going to be sharing this year’s invitation really soon, but I wanted to document all of the past years, so here is my idea from 2013! This was a crazy busy year for me, so they stayed kind of simple because I needed to be able to mail them instead of hand delivering.
I made little spooky eyeball postcards and on the back is a punny sentiment ‘(eye) hope you’ll come’!
I placed these in cellophane bags and sewed them shut for a Frankenstein look. Lots of fun and really simple. The eyeball files are from the Pazzles Craft Room, but they are comprised of basic shapes, so you could easily design your own files or use punches!
