Real snow is magical while it’s falling from the sky and turns your dead frozen yard into a winter wonderland. Use that same “add snow” technique to kick your cards up to the next level by using Gesso as snow. My favorite kind is Art Advantage White Gesso, which is honestly more like whipped spackle. It goes on “fluffy” even when it’s wet and stays puffy like snow when it’s dried. I like to add a little here and there with a paintbrush and make it drift in the corners.

MME Christmas Tree Card

While it’s still wet you can add a little glitter if you like the sparkly snow look.

MME Reindeer Card

Just a little winter card making trick that can give a project a little extra wow!
